So, yesterday was the day that I went to pick up my UHAUL trailer. It was actually a relatively quick process, until he was like “oh yea we don’t have the wire for the break lights”….to which I respond -___- and he’s like “don’t worry you can go to the closest UHAUL center and they’ll fix it real quick. And I was like “AWESOME” and then he was like “just take the BQE and get off on exit 30. And I was like “oh cool it’s on flushing” and he was like “OHHH no I mean get off on 30th street” … THIS MAN WAS GONNA SEND ME 8 MILES INTO QUEENS WITH NO BREAK LIGHTS OR TURN SIGNALS. I refused, he walked us to the corner to buy a wire, fixed the trailer and we were on our merry way.

The movers were VERY CUTE and VERY STRONG. We bought them donuts.

THEN THE UHAUL WAS PACKED, my truck was packed, three ladies and a cat ready to roll. So, we leave Brooklyn and I immediately hit a car with my UHAUL. To be fair, it was parked in a crosswalk. Anyway, I left a note, the guys name was Simon, he was really sweet about it. We have to go through manhattan to get out of new York (you guys we HAVE to)…we were in stand still traffic for three and a half hours…………..THREE…AND A HALF….HOURS… We finally got out and on the road and we will get 1.5 hours of sleep before we have to wake up and drive the rest of the way to Chicago to meet the movers. And for some reason, I’m not in a bad mood at all. I STILL LOVE LIFE and Janet is being so cute.
