Projects + Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Reaching out to press contacts and developing/maintaing our database.
-Working with current and potential sponsors for our Fall Tour.
-Grant research and writing.
-Social Media outreach, strategy and management.
-Copywriting and editing.

DATES + LOCATION

We are ONLY ACCEPTING THREE INTERNS, TWO LOCATED IN NYC AND ONE IN CHICAGO, physical office hours not required. In-person meetings scheduled on an as-needed basis. The internship begins September 5, 2012 and ends December 7, 2012. 

QUALIFICATIONS

-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and comfortable with GoogleDocs.
-Ability to communicate effectively and primarily through email.
-Interest in philanthropic work, human rights initiatives, and LGBTQ issues.
-Self-starter, positive attitude, sense of humor, affinity for kittens.

**Photoshop experience preferred, but not required.
**Video editing experience preferred, but not required.
**Knowledge of developing/executing iPhone/Android apps a plus
