Hey you guys. I bet more than 50% of our readers think ‘my vote doesn’t count’ …guess what… thats 26,000 people who think their vote doesn’t count. SO IF YOU ALL VOTED WE COULD CHANGE THE WORLD.
Register…if you’re gonna be gone or working or busy, get an absentee ballot. This election is huge. Things that you guys should care about; student loans, marriage equality, health insurance, ladies body choices, equal pay (why are we still fighting for this…), employee discrimination, etc. These are just the things that affect you personally every single day. Not to mention the billions of issues that affect us all in the long run and on a much bigger scale.
I tried to tell my dad that the 18 - 26 age group was much more passionate that he thought. He doesn’t believe me, he thinks we’re all gonna sit home bc we don’t understand how much our vote matters. Let’s prove him wrong. We can literally change the face of this election, you guys.
If anything, vote because of this lady’s butt. She wants you too, and none’a’yall wanna let down a lady butt.

Voting is a funny thing, you guys.
It’s like, for a lot of us… until you actually walk head-first into a situation where your rights are taken away, or where your health care is revoked, or where you can’t find a job after months and months of searching, it is hard to hold on to how important that vote can truly be.
Here’s the deal: If you haven’t already experienced how the world around you can actually affect you (in both positive and negative ways), I promise you that you will within the next few years. This is your chance to take responsibility for your own self. Get informed. Get registered. Vote.
TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE TINY BUT MIGHTY: Just because you cannot vote DOES NOT MEAN that you are incapable of making a difference this election year. Ask all of the 18+ humans you know if they are registered. Get informed about the issues and speak up about what matters to you. Our voices are so influential, you guys. There have been several elections where my conversations with my parents have informed the way that they have entered the voting booth.
This matters.Do this.
